Cabbages and kings

That my friends is a cabbage rose. Of all the offputting names in the world I can't think of a better one! But surprisingly, cabbage roses look like cabbages and still manage to be quite pretty. Here I wanted the slash of the silhouetted stem behind the rose, and get it with all its petals showing. Whee success methinks!
