Gaboon viper!
My first acquaintance with these guys was when i was very young and reading Gerald Durrell like the world was ending. There's a story aobut them all hunting gaboon vipers in a pit in the night - I think there was alcohol invovled, etc. So I was v psyched to see one at the DC reptile house. Doesn't it look EVIL?

The eyes look soo creepy. I get it's also about camoflou...(can't spell it) but it seems a bit too busy for me liking. the zoom and texture of the snake though is amazing though in the 2nd.
ReplyDeleteyeah SO creepy no? and no i canr spell it either, had to google. hee. i tried to crop it but it wasn't happening i wanted the length of the bosy and i cldnt lose the wall etc. shall try again
